We have two STM labs. The first one is on the basement floor of Centre for Nanoscience and Quantum Information (LG11). It features an acoustic room, a keel slab and a Faraday cage. The second lab is on the ground floor of HH Wills lab (LG32). The acoustic chamber houses cryogenic ultrahigh vacuum scanning tunneling microscopes with in situ sample and tip preparation tools.
